More Charges for Doc Who Inappropriately Touched Patients

A doctor in Pennsylvania already facing charges of indecent assault after complaints by three female patients has been charged with inappropriately touching another patient.

Fifty-nine-year-old Dr. Samuel Rashid was charged Tuesday with felony indecent assault and corruption of minors after a former patient said he fondled her during several visits at Lebanon Valley Family Medicine in 1996, when she was 15 or 16 years old.

Rashid was initially charged in July after three female patients reported being inappropriately touched during routine visits.

Police said more than a dozen women have since come forward with similar allegations.

Rashid's attorney has said his client denies the allegations.

In September, Rashid signed an agreement with the state Board of Medicine that prohibits him from conducting examinations of female patients without another person present.
