A woman who was allegedly robbed last month while with her daughter claims she was the victim of another robbery.

The 30-year-old woman told police she was leaving her apartment Wednesday around 11:15 a.m. on the 200 block of E. County Line Road in Hatboro. The woman says she was suddenly approached by a man who was in the common hallway who forced his way into her apartment and demanded money. The woman claims the man took a knife from her kitchen, threatened her and cut her on her abdomen. The man then allegedly fled after taking a gold necklace from the woman.
Police recovered the knife that was allegedly used by the suspect. They also say the woman’s wound appeared superficial and that the woman refused medical treatment.

The Crooked Billet Elementary School, located near the scene of the alleged crime, went into lock-down for a short time as a precaution. Police and a canine unit searched the area but did not find anyone, according to investigators.

The woman told police the suspect told her not to look at him and she therefore could not provide a detailed description. Police say the woman only mentioned the suspect wore blue gloves and spoke Spanish.

Investigators say the woman was also involved in an incident on Friday, March 30, also in her apartment complex. During that incident, the woman claims a man armed with a knife confronted her  while she was with her 2-year-old daughter. He then allegedly demanded money and ran off with an unknown amount of cash. The woman was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect in that incident. She told police she is unsure if the suspect in Wednesday’s incident is the same person.
