A Main Line mother is in critical condition Thursday after nearly drowning in the family swimming pool, according to Lower Merion police.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 call to the home on Conshohocken State Road in Gladwyne around 8:45 Wednesday.
There, they found a husband desperately trying to resuscitate his 40-year-old wife, says police.
According to authorities, the woman was swimming with the couple's young child when she went under.
She's currently in critical condition at Lankenau Hospital.
