Parents Search for Missing South Philly Teen

Wu was last seen on Christmas Eve

The family of a missing South Philadelphia teenager fears he may have been lured away by someone he met on the internet.

Jason Wu, 14, has been missing since Christmas Eve morning, according to police. He was last seen at his home on the 2300 block of Wolf Streets.

Police said his cell phone, wallet and prescription glasses were all left behind.

His mother made a plea for his return on Sunday.

“Jason if you hear me, please come home or let me know that you are alright. I worry about you a lot,” said Kim Le.

Police took Wu’s computer to see who the boy was talking to days before he vanished.

“It’s been 18 days already. The first day  when he left the house I thought something was wrong. I feel like he ran away with somebody,” said Le.

Wu’s mother also said Jason did take his house key with him.

The family has since installed surveillance cameras outside the home to see if Wu or someone else enters the house.

The family is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads police to Jason Wu.
