Missing Swimmer’s Body Recovered From NJ River

    Authorities have recovered the body of a man who disappeared while swimming in the Raritan River.

    A fisherman on a pier spotted the body on Thursday.

    Perth Amboy police say the 27-year-old city resident was having trouble swimming on Wednesday night.

    Police say two children of the man's girlfriend went in the water to help and they had to be rescued by two teenagers.

    The incident happened on a beach near Sadowsky Parkway.
