Police have recovered the body of a missing boater in the reservoir at Spruce Run Recreation Area in Clinton, N.J.
The search began Thursday morning and the body was found around 11:30 a.m.
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns told the Courier News of Bridgewater a man from the Somerville area was reported missing on Wednesday night.
“We believe he was in a kayak at Spruce Run,” Kearns told the paper.
The man's name has not yet been released and it isn't clear what led to his death.
Spruce Run is comprised of nearly 1,300 acres and 15 miles of shoreline for recreational use.
