Missing Drexel Student Found Dead: Family

A missing Drexel student was found dead, according to his family.

22-year-old Sean Buehrle of Pennsburg went missing last Tuesday around 6:00 a.m.

Buehrle lived on the 2300 block of Otts Road in Pennsburg, Pa, according to the Pottstown Mercury. State Police say he was last seen leaving Weis Markets on the 400 block of Pottstown Avenue. The Mercury reports that Buehrle didn’t own a car and his cell phone was turned off while police were trying to find him. Police also said that there was no activity in his bank account while he was missing.

Sean’s family created a facebook page asking for help in finding him. On Saturday they posted the following message:

We were just notified by the state police, unfortunately Sean Buehrle is no longer with us and there was no foul play involved. Further details will be forthcoming and please respect the privacy of the family at this time. We deeply thank everyone for their help, cooperation, prayers, and support. Sincerely, the family of Sean Buehrle.

The Mercury reports that Buehrle was expected to return to Drexel in September to complete his Senior year.
