Former CBS 3 news anchor, Larry Mendte, is scheduled to be sentenced Monday for snooping into a colleague's private email.

Mendte faces up to six months in jail for the federal offense, but he could receive probation, fines and community service instead.

Back in August, Mendte pleaded guilty to illegally accessing the email of his former co-anchor Alycia Lane.

He was fired from CBS 3 in June. Mendte worked at NBC10 for six years prior to moving to KYW.
