Memorial Service Held for Man Killed in Home Invasion

Friends and family of a man who was killed in a brutal home invasion came together Sunday to remember his life.

58-year-old Robert Chae was murdered at his North Wales, Pa. home while leaving for work Friday morning.

A memorial service was held in the man’s honor at the Korean Young Sang Presbyterian Church in Horsham, Pa. Sunday morning.

Police are still searching for Chae’s killers. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.

The attackers waited for the Philadelphia businessman to open the garage door before barging in and bounding Chae, his wife and children, according to police.

The suspects then stabbed Chae and forced his wife to open a safe, stealing an undisclosed amount of money.

The viewing for Chae will be held at the George Washington Memorial Park and Mausoleums located at 80 Stenton Avenue in Plymouth Meeting, Pa starting at 8:00 p.m.

The funeral will follow on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
