Military officials are warning residents in the vicinity of the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst that they may hear more noise than usual in the coming days.

U.S. Marine units will be conducting range training at the base.

The 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, Marine Wing Support Squadron 472, and the 2nd Battalion 25th Marine Regiment from Garden City, N.Y., are scheduled to conduct firing training at the Dix ranges between March 8 to 10.

Nearby residents might hear the noise and feel ground-shaking explosions.

Training is scheduled to end by 11 p.m.
