[PHI] Mayfair Residents Hit by a Tire Slasher -- AGAIN
Police are investigating a series of tire slashings in the same neighborhood where two years ago a neighbor went on a tire-slashing spree. NBC10's Katy Zachry has the story. (Published Thursday, May 29, 2014)

Neighbors in the area of the 4200 block of Frost Street told NBC10.com that tires were slashed on a handful of vehicles overnight.

Philadelphia Police said someone vandalized at least six cars between midnight at 5 a.m. Thursday.

Some cars on Walker Street were also hit, according to neighbors. Police didn’t confirm that report.

No pricetag was placed on the total damage. A neighbor said they captured the slashings on surveillance video.

The latest slashings occurred about half a mile from where a series of slashings put Mayfair on alert more than two years ago.

David Toledo, a former neighborhood activist, was recently sentenced to probation for a spree of dozen of tires slashings in Mayfair.
