Masked Men Kill Wife, Beat Husband
Woman shot to death in home invasion
Masked men – at least three of them – killed a woman and beat her husband inside the couple's Kingsessing home Tuesday morning.
Neighbors shook their heads in disbelief, saying the victim was a "good person, great neighbor...good friend."
The gunmen got into the home in the 6100 block of Upland Street around 3:45 a.m., according to police.
They shot the wife in the head, pistol-whipped her husband and ransacked the home. The husband was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries and to be questioned by detectives.
Police were looking for at least three, possibly four gunmen.
