Man's Body Found Along Berks County Road

Police are investigating the discovery of a body spotted by a motorist along an eastern Pennsylvania road as a possible homicide.

Authorities in Berks County say the man's body was found shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday in the weeds alongside the ramp from the westbound lane of Route 12 in Reading.

Police said the victim's body showed evidence of trauma. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.

Police and prosecutors are investigating, and an autopsy was scheduled Thursday to determine the cause of death.
