Man in Hospital After Water Ski Accident

A man is in the hospital after a water ski accident in Middle Township, NJ.

The accident happened in the bay between Stone Harbor and North Wildwood near Ocean Drive. State police say that the victim, a man in his 30s, was water skiing and fell while he was being pulled by the boat.

Medics soon arrived and the man claimed that he couldn’t feel his legs.

A medevac chopper airlifted the man to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center.

Police say the man broke his neck but is in stable condition.

State Police questioned the driver of the boat that pulled the man. The accident is still under investigation.
