Man, Woman Remain ‘Critical' After Shooting

Two people remain hospitalized in critical condition after they were shot inside a vehicle that was parked in a central New Jersey neighborhood.

Red Bank police tell the Asbury Park Press that 29-year-old borough resident Leon Veney and 23-year-old Angelique Morris, Tinton Falls, were shot Thursday night on West Sunset Avenue.

It's still not known what sparked the shooting, and no other injuries were reported.

Further details on the shooting in the Monmouth County community have not been disclosed, including what type of weapon was used or how many shooters may have been involved.

No arrests have been made, McConnell said.
