NJ Man Uses Deer Meat to Try to Cover Fatal Hit and Run

Police say Robert Eisele struck and killed a man, then fled the scene.

Authorities say a New Jersey man rubbed deer meat on his car to try to cover up a fatal hit-and-run
accident.

Robert Eisele is held in the Cumberland County Jail on $150,000 bail, charged with leaving the scene of an accident after causing a death.

Police say the 42-year-old Millville resident struck and killed 36-year-old Edward Morrison of Commercial Township on Dec. 15.

Senior Assistant Prosecutor Michael Ostrowski tells The Daily Journal of Vineland investigators learned about the deer meat after a tipster contacted police.

It's not clear whether Eisele has retained a lawyer.
