Police say one man is fighting for his life while another is in custody after a hit-and-run in the Wissinoming section of the city.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Harbison Avenue and Comly Street. Police say a driver struck a motorcyclist and then fled the scene. The victim, a man in his 20’s, was taken to Hahnemann Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police say the man who originally fled the scene later turned himself in around 5 a.m. So far no charges have been filed but the man remains in police custody.
