Man Threatens to Kill Boss: Police

The store manager of Dunkin Donuts said he was threatened by an employee after a meeting over work performance

A Dunkin Donuts employee was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill his boss with a knife, police said. Gloucester Township police were called to the store on the 500 block of Berlin Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The store manager told officers he had just finished a counseling session with Manjit Singh, 21, about his work performance when he became enraged and pulled a knife. Police say the manager told them that Singh threatened to kill him and then began knocking over containers of donuts. He left the store after the manager said he was calling police.

Officers found the employee in the parking lot of Classic Carwash, right up the street from the Dunkin Donuts.

The knife believed to be involved in the incident was found inside a plastic bag in a trash can outside a nearby Walgreens store, police said.

Singh, from Windemere Drive in Sicklerville, was charged with making terroristic threats, weapons offenses, and criminal mischief.
