Police have a 28-year-old man in custody after a four-hour standoff.
Police went to a home on Asbury Avenue in Cheltenham in response to a call about a domestic disturbance.
SWAT and crisis negotiators learned a man was holding a 44-year-old woman hostage. Others in the home managed to escape.
After about four hours, the man surrendered.
The woman suffered head injuries and a gun shot to the leg. She is recovering.
