A man is in the hospital after he was struck in a hit-and-run in the Nicetown section of the city.
The 62-year-old man was walking on Wissahickon and Hunting Park avenues Tuesday when he was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene.
The victim suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital. Police have not revealed his condition but say he is expected to survive.
Investigators have not yet released a description of the hit-and-run vehicle or driver.
