A man is dead after being struck by a train Saturday afternoon in Torresdale.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. at 4846 Grant Avenue near the Torresdale train station.
Police say the man was hit by an Amtrak train heading to New York.
The passengers were transferred to another train, according to a witness.
