Man Steals Donations From Charity: Cops

Philadelphia police are searching for a man who allegedly stole donations from a local charity for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia police are searching for a man who they say stole donations from a local charity.

Police say the suspect entered the office of the Twins Auto Body Shop on South 72nd Street on Tuesday at 1:25 p.m. The man asked about a job, left the office, then returned several minutes later, according to investigators. The man then allegedly stole a jar that contained between $200 to $400 in cash for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Police say the man then fled the area on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as a thin black male in his 20’s standing 5-foot-8. He was last seen wearing a light Grey or white hooded sweatshirt, Grey or black jacket and blue jeans.
