Man Stabs Ex, Drowns in River

The body of a southeastern Pennsylvania man was found in a car submerged in the Susquehanna River, a few hours after he allegedly stabbed his estranged wife and another man during a home invasion.

The Lancaster County coroner's office planned an autopsy Monday on the body of 28-year-old Garrell David Tyler, of York City. The body was found by a fisherman about 9:45 a.m. Sunday who called West Hempfield police.

Police in West York say Tyler was the only suspect in the stabbings of 25-year-old Ivy Tyler and 28-year-old William Wilson at her home. Both were listed in satisfactory condition Sunday evening at York Hospital.

Police say Ivy Tyler had a protection-from-abuse order against Garrell Tyler, who had been charged with assaulting her during a domestic dispute Oct. 10.
