A man is dead after an assailant stabbed him once in the chest in West Philly Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred on the 4900 block of Wynnefield Avenue around 3 p.m., police said.
The 24-year-old victim was rushed to Lankenau Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:38 p.m., officials said.
No arrests have been made and police have yet to recover the weapon.
An investigation is underway.
