Man Stabbed Behind Wawa Store

Police say four men tried to rob a man and ended up stabbing him before fleeing the scene.

Police are searching for four men who they say were involved in a stabbing and attempted robbery in Northeast Philadelphia.

Investigators say it happened on Friday at 5:37 p.m. behind a Wawa convenience store on 1300 Longshore Street.

Police say four teenagers tried to rob a 22-year-old Middle Eastern man and stabbed him once in the left side of his stomach. The victim was taken to the hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Police describe the suspects as four black males in their late teens. Police continue to investigate.
