Man Sought for Child Sex Assaults, Wife Arrested

Authorities are looking for southern New Jersey man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl for several years.

Meanwhile, the man's wife is facing child abuse and child endangerment charges for allegedly failing to stop the attacks that authorities say she knew were occurring.

The Burlington County Times reports that a warrant was issued Wednesday for 35-year-old Joseph Gorski of Mount Holly. That came after the alleged victim -- now 16 -- told authorities about the attacks that allegedly occurred between 2004 and 2011, when the victim was 6 to 13 years old.

Gorski's 39-year-old wife, Sharrell, was arrested Wednesday. Her bail was raised Friday to $75,000 cash during an initial court appearance, where she maintained her innocence.

Burlington County prosecutors say Joseph Gorski, the victim and another person told Sharrell Gorski about the sex assaults.
