Authorities are seeking public assistance to catch this bandit

A white male wearing a stocking mask armed with a semi-automatic pistol entered the bank around 9:15 Saturday morning. He waved his pistol at employees and customers while demanding cash as he stood at the front door of the bank.

After he received an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the scene and was seen getting into the passenger seat of an older model tan or gold-colored four door sedan driven by another white male.

The car was last seen on Clement Road headed towards Washington Lane, according to police.

The armed robber is described to be a white male in his late 30's or 40's, 5'7 to 5'10, heavy build (200 pounds or more), neatly trimmed beard with designs cut into it, wearing a black baseball cap, a dark or black short-sleeved zippered "athletic" type jacket over a dark blue or grey long-sleeved t-shirt, gloves, blue jeans and sneakers.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Jenkintown Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject's apprehension, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
