Police are looking for a group of men who burst into a Pennsbury Township home on Monday evening and injured the homeowner.
Fred Barakat was shot and is in stable condition at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
According to investigators, three men, two wearing masks, entered the home along the 300 block of Hillendale Road just before 6:30 p.m.
There was a stuggle and Barakat was shot. Police say this does not appear to be a random home invasion. They say it appears as though Barakat was targeted but they have not said why.
Neighbors told NBC10 Barakat is a bankruptcy attorney in Pennsylvania and Delaware. He works from his home.
They believe the man was targeted.
One of the suspects is described as a white male, 6-feet tall with blond hair.
The men were last seen fleeing the scene in a white or cream car.
