Police are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition late Friday night.

Investigators say that a 36-year-old man was shot three times, including once in the head, outside a bar in Point Breeze. The shooting took place just before midnight on the sidewalk near the intersection of 22nd and Wharton Streets.

The man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. No further identifying information about him has been released. Police say that no arrests have been made in the shooting.
