Police are investigating the shooting death of a Delaware man.
Police responded to the area of W. 24th and N. Washington Streets in Wilmington around 7:15 p.m. on Sunday after receiving a report of shots fired.
When they arrived, the officers found a 23-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds. The man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
