Man Sexually Assaults Woman at Train Station: Police

Tredyffrin Police arrested a man for alleged sexual assault on Thursday, October 28.

Police arrived at the Strafford train station after a woman reported that a man had sexually assaulted her. The victim claimed that she had just gotten off the train and was walking along Old Eagle School Road when she was attacked.

While officers were checking the area, Officer Chris Fanizzi saw an individual who fit the physical description of the suspect in the area of Old Eagle School Road and Forest Lane. Police approached the man and apprehended him. The victim later identified the man as the person who assaulted her.

The suspect, Nelson Bones-Ortiz, 33, of the 200 block of Marshall Street in Lancaster, PA, was charged with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment.

Bones-Ortiz was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Tartaglia and remanded to Chester County Prison for $100,000 cash bail.
