Man Robs Tacony Wawa Using Demand Note

Police are looking for the man they say robbed a Tacony Wawa early Monday.

Police are searching for the man that robbed a Tacony Wawa very early Monday morning.

Officials say the suspect entered the Wawa on the 6400 block of Torresdale Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. They say he handed the clerk a note demanding money. After receiving what he wanted, the suspect fled the scene, according to police.

Authorities tell NBC10 the man made off with $3600.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information is urged to call Philadelphia Police.
