Man Pleads Guilty to Failing to Report Child Sexual Assault

A southern New Jersey man pleaded guilty to failing to report a man he knew was sexually abusing a child for nearly seven years.

NJ.com reports that 48-year-old Darryl Senior, of Williamstown, admitted in court Monday that although the underage girl told him she was sexually assaulted by Raymond Watson, he didn't report it to the authorities.

The 36-year-old Watson, of Monroe Township, pleaded guilty to the first-degree offense in March. He is facing a decade in state prison for assaulting the girl from 2002 to 2009.

Prosecutors say they'll recommend that Senior be sentenced to six years in prison for a charge of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
