Man Pleads Guilty to Murder of Pittsburgh Activist

A western Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the death of a Pittsburgh-area community activist.

Prosecutors in Allegheny County said 22-year-old Londele Cox pleaded guilty Monday as part of a plea agreement under which the district attorney's office will recommend a sentence of 15 to 30 years.

He was charged in the January 2013 homicide of 61-year-old Isaiah Dent, a McKees Rock activist found stabbed and beaten in his apartment.

Prosecutors originally arrested another man in the slaying before releasing him and charging Dent.
