Emergency crews in central Pennsylvania have been searching for a missing canoeist on the Susquehanna River.
Rescue personnel in York County were sent to Riverfront Park near Marietta after a boater spotted a capsized canoe and towed it to the park's boat ramp.
Susquehanna regional police said a couple in their 60s and their dog entered the river around Shocks Mill Bridge, a railroad bridge connecting York and Lancaster counties north of the park.
Authorities said the couple's boat capsized in rough water south of the launch at about 3 p.m. Sunday.
Police said only the dog was wearing a life vest, although there were other vests in the canoe.
The woman and the dog were rescued but the man remained missing. His name hasn't been released.
