Police say two brothers riding personal watercraft crashed into each other on Barnegat Bay, leaving one dead.

The accident happened near the Thomas A. Mathis Bridge (Route 37) in Toms River, N.J. Sunday night just before 8.

State Police Sgt. Adam Grossman tells The Star-Ledger of Newark one man was pronounced dead at a hospital while the other brother was treated for minor injuries.

Neither man was identified. The crash remains under investigation.
