Man Gunned Down in Apparent Road Rage Shooting on Pa. Interstate

Police say a man killed in an apparent road-rage shooting in Pennsylvania had reported some sort of road dispute with the pickup chasing him.

State police say 28-year-old Timothy Davison called 911 as he crossed from Maryland into Pennsylvania on Interstate 81 early Saturday.

Trooper Rob Hicks, a spokesman, says he's not sure if Davison reported that someone had hit the brakes or cut the other person off.

But he says Davis mentioned some type of situation, and said someone was firing a gun at him.

Hicks says the first call reached Maryland authorities and was dropped, before a second call reached dispatchers in Pennsylvania.

Police believe the pickup driver rammed Davison's car, then shot him. No arrests have been made.

Police say Davison was driving home to Poland, Maine, from Florida.
