A 30-year-old man was shot and killed outside a lounge in Cedarbrook early Saturday morning.
Police say that the victim was found lying outside the Whispers Lounge at 7600 Ogontz Avenue with an apparent gunshot wound in his shoulder. The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:29 a.m.
Authorities believe that the shooting stemmed from a fight that started inside the lounge before spilling out into the street. The victim's identity has not been released, and an investigation is ongoing.
