Man Kills Brother, Wraps Him in Sheet: Police

Philadelphia police have charged a man with the murder of his own brother after they found his brother dead in the basement of a home, wrapped in a sheet and unspecified packing materials.
 
Police say that 36-year-old Art Figueiredo was killed by his brother Paulo Figueiredo, 34. The cause of death is blunt force trauma.

The elder Figueiredo was found by authorities about 12:40 a.m. Sunday after they were called to the home on 2100-block of Princeton Avenue in the Oxford Circle neighborhood of Philly for a report of a person requiring hospitalization. The man was discovered dead, wrapped in a sheet and packeding material next to a bed in the home's basement.
 
Paulo Figueiredo into custody and on Monday was charged with murder and related offenses.

Authorities believe the victim may have died days before he was found.
