Police say a 21-year-old man was found dead after stabbing himself in Egg Harbor Township Sunday.
Authorities say around 2 p.m. police responded to a report of a naked man walking with a knife down Fork Road near the intersection of the Black Horse Pike. Police confronted the man and asked him to put down his weapon. The man then began stabbing himself with the knife and ran from police when they attempted to restrain him.
The man was then found dead shortly after in the nearby woods.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
Police have not released the man’s identity.
