Man Fighting for His Life After Stabbing: Cops

Police say a 26-year-old man was stabbed once in the neck.

A man is fighting for his life after a stabbing in the Kensington section of the city.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on the 400 block of East Somerset Street. Police say a 26-year-old man was stabbed once in the neck. He was taken to Temple University hospital where he is currently in critical condition.

Police say the suspect is a black male in his late teens with a scruffy beard. He was last seen fleeing on foot westbound on Somerset Street, according to investigators.
