A man is recovering after police say he crashed his car into a Northeast Philadelphia home.

Police say the man, who has not been identified, was driving when he somehow lost control of his vehicle, struck another car and then crashed into a house on Frankford Avenue and Welsh Road.

No one was inside the home at the time of the accident. The driver was not seriously hurt but underwent a medical evaluation. Police say no charges will be filed at this point.
