Man Charged in Penn State Frat Attacks

A Tennessee man was charged after he allegedly attacked two men at a Penn State University fraternity house.

Authorities say that 23-year-old Christian T. Heyne allegedly assaulted two members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity early Saturday morning, the Centre Daily Times reports.

Heyne, of Nashville, was reportedly standing outside of the fraternity with one cowboy boot on and no shirt. Police say he claimed to be a former member of the fraternity and attempted to enter. When asked to leave, Heyne allegedly grabbed one man by the neck and punched another in the face.

No attorney is listed on court papers, and Heyne is being held in Centre County jail, unable to post $75,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 12.
