Man Charged With Taping Girls in Mall Bathroom

Norristown man allegedly videotaped kids at Plymouth Meeting Mall

A suburban Philadelphia man accused of taping juvenile girls at a mall near his home is facing child sex abuse charges.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman says 52-year-old Robert E. Hunt of Norristown videotaped juvenile girls in various states of undress at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, often inside bathrooms.

Authorities say Hunt was caught videotaping girls in September and admitted deleting images and videos from his computers after his encounter with police.

Hunt is charged with 25 counts of sexual abuse of children and one count of tampering with evidence. He was arraigned and released on bail Wednesday.

Attempts to contact Hunt on Thursday were unsuccessful.
