New Castle County police have arrested a man and charged him with strangulation and other offenses from a fight with his girlfriend who fled to a motel.
Officers were called to the motel Saturday morning for the report of an altercation. The domestic incident apparently started at a nearby home, and the woman fled to a nearby motel. A security guard called police.
Police arrested 29-year-old Maurice Brummell of New Castle. He is charged with strangulation and other charges.
