Man Charged With Stealing Farm Equipment

Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say stole gasoline and batteries from equipment on a farm in Harbeson.

Twenty-two-year-old Robert L. Storms Jr. of Georgetown was arrested Friday and charged with burglary, theft and other offenses. He was released on bond.

Troopers say on Aug. 30 and Sept. 10, Storms drove a vehicle through a bean field and took batteries from a tractor and forklift. Police say he also cut a lock off a gas pump and stole 15 gallons of gasoline.

Troopers say Storms was identified by surveillance photos.
