A Lakewood man has been indicted and charged with killing his mother in June 2013.
Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato said Friday that 43-year-old Brian Cassidy was indicted in the death of 61-year-old Gail Conway.
It wasn't clear if Cassidy had an attorney.
He was arrested on the same day as his mother's death and has been in jail in lieu of $1 million bail since.
Cassidy's arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 24.
He was also charged with theft and weapons offenses. Prosecutors say Cassidy was spotted driving Conway's car before he was arrested.
