Police have made an arrest in the murder of a man inside a Delaware mobile home.

Police have made an arrest in the murder of a man inside a Delaware mobile home.

Police say Isidro Vasquez Hernandez, 40, had been missing since Monday. A friend went to his trailer at the Oak Grove Mobile Home Park in Dover on Friday to check on him. When Hernandez did not come to the door, the friend called 911.

When police arrived, they looked through the windows of the trailer and discovered what appeared to be blood on the walls and floors. Police forced their way inside the home where they found Hernandez dead on a bedroom floor.

Police say Joshua Cathell, 18, of Dover, walked into Troop 3 headquarters near Dover on Saturday around 10:30 a.m. after learning he was being questioned in the death of Hernandez. Through the investigation, detectives say they learned Cathell shot Hernandez in the head and dragged his body into a bedroom. He then allegedly fled the scene in Hernandez’s vehicle which was later found abandoned in Rodney Village Shopping Center.

Cathell is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony. He was arraigned and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center without bail.
