Man Arrested One Year After Deadly Hit-and-Run

A Newark, Delaware man is arrested for the hit-and-run that killed an elderly woman outside a library last April

Police make an arrest nearly one year after the deadly hit-and-run that killed 76-year-old Helen Yang.

Yang, of Newark, was killed as she crossed the street in front of the Newark Free Library on April 25, 2012.

Investigators say Ryan Wroten, 26, of Newark, was driving the car that ran down Yang and kept going.

Police were tipped off back in July that Wroten may have been involved in the accident. They tracked him down and seized his car.

The FBI crime lab was able to link Wroten's car to the deadly hit-and-run.

Wroten was arrested yesterday for leaving the scene of a collision causing death. He was released on $1,000 bail.
