Man Admits Distributing Child Porn Via Email

A man from northwestern New Jersey has admitted using his home computer to distribute child porn.

Prosecutors say 55-year-old Albert Rose of Hampton pleaded guilty Friday in federal court in Trenton to one count of distribution of child pornography.

The government says Rose admitted distributing child porn via email in February 2010, and also admitted having more than 600 images of child porn on his computer when it was seized last year from his home in Sussex County.

Rose faces a minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years. He also faces a minimum of five years' supervised release and a $250,000 fine.

His sentencing was set for Dec. 2. He has been free on bail since his arrest.
